All those tribulations I understand they will be awful. People getting shot for steeling a turnop out of someones field. Dont you think it would be best just to die a normal death and skip the end times all together. BB

Christians will not have to go through the tribulation. Jesus will take us away before all of that happens.

The trials and tribulations that you speak of will happen after Christ has returned for all believers. The return is called the Rapture. People want to see Christ in the rapture as to not feel the pain of death - thats why Christians don't want to go through a normal death. Non-believers will be left behind to face the tribulation period. During that time, people will be given the opportunity to choose God, yet again, because He does not wish that any would perish. Times will be tough for those left behind... to know more read Revelations in your Bible. It is hard to read so you may want to purchase a guide to help you get through it.
There is a series of books called "Left Behind" - you can get them on DVD as well.. They are first class movies about characters that are left behind after the rapture. Kirk Cameron (the cute kid in "Growing Pains" ) is the main character. I read the book series (they are fiction, based on Bible predictions) and learned SOOO MUCH! Good luck and God bless!

Of course the tribulations will be awful, but it will signal a change that will make everything better. Armageddon is not really the end, but a new start for a better world. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ then you really don't have anything to worry about.

Just look at what is promised to those who obey God.
(Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
(Psalm 72:16) There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth; On the top of the mountains there will be an overflow. His fruit will be as in Leb′a·non, And those who are from the city will blossom like the vegetation of the earth.
(Job 33:25) Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.’
No wickedness...plenty of food...no death....good health...
what else would you want?
As you said, the tribulation is caused by wicked people. doing what Satan wants.

the end times are actually upon us as we speak. Man kinds wickedness has to be addressed. All unbelievers must see the truth and believe. In third Nephi just previous to Christs appearance on the American continent it talks about the people wailing and crying about if only they had accepted the prophets and believed the truth then they wouldn't have died. All the things that happen in the end times or last days (now) are to prepare us spiritually for the wonders that are about to occur!!

It does make a difference. Do you know where you are going after death? It is going to be a rude awakening for all unbelievers; because they will be in hell. Romans 10:9-10 is how to be born again, and have eternal life.

I have very little respect for some of these individuals that seem to get off on the concept of an end of days Apocalypse.

It is almost as if these people want to see human suffering for their own gratification.

I am reminded of a biblical passage that says one should not celebrate the fall of one's enemy.

I find it very disturbing.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Whenever it supposedly happens it will happen, some of us may not even be around before it happens. So why dwell or even harp on something that has been "predicted" and off by the second, minute, day, month, year, decade and so on.
