None of the "feelings" that we know here on earth will really be the same in the afterlife. It will all be different.... radically different. Take whatever worldly "reasoning" you are using here and get rid of it - it doesn't apply.
Heaven will be a place where all of the former things, former ways of thinking, feeling, acting, etc. will be totally stripped away. God will wipe away every tear, and there will be no more pain, suffering, death (see Revelation, chapter 21)
The Creator didn't "evolve". The Creator always existed and always will, in the same state. God exists outside of time and space, both of which are His creations.
Yes, heaven is an interesting place - and yes, you do give up who and what you are here on earth. What we are here on earth is only a temporary stop, and is not our real home. Our destiny as human beings is to return to our Creator and be reunited with Him. Sadly, some will choose not to do that - God does not force anyone to love or accept Him.

Wrong again. It is so sad to think that people like you are truly lost. Ya don't believe in Heaven or Hell and then you continue to try to take any beliefs away from Christians who do believe. satan is truly on a rampage and this is predicted. I wonder if your parents believe the way you do ?Evidently , you were taught this. Being your earning a degree in Psychology, I find it very disturbing that someone with your degradation of Christians can work around people who are gull-able. Should we surrender to your mind control? No, and don't try to control what Christians think and practice. You will find out on your last seconds on Earth. Then I hope you have time enough and God will accept you, when you say: Forgive me Lord !!

Burning in hell is a false teaching. those who teach this have confused hell with the "Lake of fire". And here is what the Bible says about that
;(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.
Now Hades is the Greek word for hell.
So it is hell that is to be burned or destroyed...not people.
And when Rev. 21;4 is considered, death is also to be destroyed;
With no death, there can be no graves...So hell is simply man's grave.
And the lake of fire signifies destruction.
(Revelation 20:10) And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet [already were]; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
For Satan and other organisations doing his will.

In heaven we will be in a different state of mind. There are people here on earth that do things that disappoint me. They can't stop doing drugs or gambling. I can't change them, and I still care about them, but at some point if you believe in personal responsibility it is on them. They rejected Christ of their own free will. They get the results they wished for. I also believe that the saved will be judged and then freed from the guilt of this life. Without guilt I am free to be happy, and this doesn't mean I joined The Borg Collective.

If you haven't been there you can't "flippantly" say what it will be like.
I have in my hand the Word of God. What it has predicted to come true has been 100% acurrate so far.
No one takes comfort in people we know whose destiny may be hell - or eternal separation from God & from us. Why do you think a Christian would be so passionate about sharing the Good News of Salvation with unsaved friends and family.
Truly evolved person? Do you have scientific proof of that?
You don't give up who you are in heaven, if it were so God would have told us that in His Word. but we are spared tears and sorrow there.

I believe we will have memory in heaven, along with additional understanding that we could never have on earth. While we won't be particularly happy that some of our friends and family are in hell, we will delight in the pure justice that has come about (and the pure mercy that has saved us from what we too deserved). The Bible says God will wipe away every tear. No suffering is allowed in heaven, no mourning. We all have a choice to make, and the outcome of those decisions is ultimately ours to face.

What an interesting and gross generalization of millions of peoples belief's. This isn't a question is it? It is a clumsy attack on others belief's.
Well let me try to present a fairly large portion of christianity who's view's you hardly address at all.
First of all if we choose to accept that God is a loving god who cares for us, it is better to analyze is reasoning than to question his motives.
First we'll take fire and brimstone. Hebrew is very rarely literal, even when it is being literal. While I largely dont' take the bible stories to be allegorical it is important to understand the meaning of the words.
Brimstone, or lava/magma, is generally accepted to mean fire from within, and inner burning. It is stated that no unclean thing can dwell in the presence of god. That we, being unclean could not survive gods presence.
Ever done something bad and had to be in the presence of someone who loved you? Who cared for you? It is pretty miserable. you just want to hide. Expand that infinately. Fire from within, inner torment, "would wish to pull the very mountains atop them to hide their sins".
So, would a loving father put his children through this, force him to be in his buring perfect lovign presence? I would hope not. So loving them, and knowing that a mortal life is essential to their progression, he provides a way out, a way to repent and atone.
Not everyone will accept this. So, does that perfect loving father force his children to be in hsi presence, to endure suffering "like fire and brimstone, who's flames ascendeth up forever and ever"? i should hope not.
Getting into mormon doctrine now, but it also matches alot of general christianity, especially early christianity.
So he puts them away from him. He does not force his children to be in his presence, but tries to make them as happy as possible. Because he loves them, and wants whats best for them, even if that means they can't come home.
And those who did go home, are they sad about their friends who aren't with them? Of course. But god gave us agency to choose as we will. There are always choices.
And in the end, it will be fair. Everyone will get their chance, even those not born into a time or place where it was available will have a chance, because God judges us on our own merits. None of us are what we could have been in better circumstances. He judges us based on who we are in our circumstances.
Don't try to act like the heavens will be simple, while this life was complicated, that you can generalizethe whole thing based on what some 15th century scholars said. Who ever tries to base their entire understanding of ANYTHING on what a bunch of 15th century scholars said? Or heck, what your average person says. In all disciplins, very few people are educated enough on the subject to really givey ou a good understanding on how it works.

Read the Bible. Jesus did not preach violence. If you think faith in God means killing off people that disagrees with your faith is the right thing to do, then go be a Muslim. By not resorting to violence over idiot tv programs, that tells me that Christians are stronger in their faith than violent religions.

My faith teaches that we will know each other and that we will still be who we are today. We also believe that we will still be families. Families can be forever. There is absolutely nothing lost, but all gained.

Yes, to answer your question. In heaven, there will be no tears, no pain, and no sadness. It's HEAVEN!, and all mankind will have had a equal opportunity to get there.
