Everyone is unique...
... Just like everyone else!

I did say: fully thinking FOR themselves...
And not: fully thinking OF themselves...

Or are some implying that is the same thing?

I don't think so.

Thinking for ourselves can involve:

(a) logic only
(b) Divine revelation only
(c) combination of a & b
(d) non-divine revelation only (ie from deceitful spirits)
(e) combination of a & d

When pure-hearted moral people "tune in to the Source," they usually do so by a process of logic (ie what they know) and Divine revelation. These people will eventually come together in a unity of thought.... ie be thinking the Same Thing.

But then again, if your definition of "Fully Thinking" involves using Divine revelation, then the answer to your Q is yes, eventually.

I'm don't quite understand your question but I'm going to try. I think if everyone reached the level of fully thinking for themselves than maybe this world might be a better place. There would be no evil and peace among people :).

Everyone's level of comprehension is different. It depends upon ur personal nature. Some think for themselves and r ready to adopt any means for their personal needs, which differ from person to person, others feel for society and their thinking for themselves has a large canvas to work upon. So if the mind of the thinkers is developed enough to work in the larger context they will be thinking the same thing e.g. to work for protecting the honour of our country and for national pride, whatever their activity they will be working for the same goal. Whereas people with less developed mind concern themselves with hoarding of material things at all costs will be thinking differently for reaching their goal. So it all depends upon the development of mind of the person. One of my acquaintences happen to say " If I am harmed then God will punish and ruin the person as I curse him" I told that acquaintence that " if God harms that person how r u compensated? If u ve approach to God for cursing someone why do not u ask God to give u bounty instead of wasting ur energy on cursing someone?" So this is level of thinking of two persons in the same position.

If everyone was thinking at a full level they would reach independent thought and would be thinking as an individual and not a shared thought.Shared thoughts, like those found in religion for instance, require much less then full thought.

So you are saying that people who think for themselves can't disagree? Thinking for yourself does not imply that you have the right answers. Even an ignoramus like myself, can think for himself.

You would have a bunch of ignorant, uneducated people who have never read anything, could not communicate with each other, and would probably just kill each other. Sounds like the stone age to me.

Maybe, but that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

ooh.. this is a paradox... how about: no. they would be thinking for themselves... not thinking what each other are thinking... each person is different and has different programs that they run.
