I think it depends on the intention. Are people dating interracially b/c their friendship develops to love or is it strictly physical and exclusive? It actually frustrates me when people date a certain race exclusively. (for example: I only like black guys or I only like asian guys) I believe all people and all races are beautiful. I'm quite disgusted by people who get caught up on physical appearances so much that it overrides everything else. I happen to think personality, integrity and values are more important. People should be physically attracted and it is important but to what degree, is the real question.

Well, hopefully this doesn't offend .....Personally, I see a person for who they are on the inside as opposed to the physical differences, etc. In fact, I have friends that are Mexican, Blacks, Chinese, and Asian; some of which, I'll admit, I would absolutely love to go out with. However, my family sees this as wrong and that we should stick to our own race. To an extent, I can agree with that becuase of the affects of society upon the children of interracial relationships. Myself, I was raised in a small town (2500 people, cats, dogs and sometimes mosquitos..lol) which was all but about 20% white untila few years ago when more Mexican families came here to live. So, therefore I wasn't really around the different racial groups until later in life. I think it is a decision that every individual must make upon their own as to whether or not this is right or wrong. I don't feel however that if oe does so choose to be with someone outside of their race that they should later separate/divorce becuase of that reason. To me, tht is no different than marrying someone who is disabled and then divorcing them becuase of the same reason. You know what you're getting into before doing so.

Geez....I'd have to marry a blue eyed brunette guy if I married my own kind. But to quote our Declaration of Independence: "All men are created equal." And as far as I know - Koreans, Africans, Americans, Canadians, Australians are all members of the human race. Some have darker hair, some have brown eyes or green or blue. Some tall - some short. The only place I draw the line is: I won't date or marry someone who is part of the Sprint network. I use Verizon and the phone bills would be too damn expensive.

We cannot say it's normal or wrong to have such kind of relationship bec. it depends on the love involve bet.the two persons. Even relationships with the same race have encountered many problems. I believe that a perfect relationship does not need a perfect man or woman but it needs a husband and a wife striving together to have a perfect marriage.

People have all sorts of different feelings, and that is normal. Different values, beliefs. We can't change how others view the world, but you are entitled to your own opinions. If we want to truly be tolerant, then we can't hate others for what they think, can we? I know there will be people who are going to reply to your question saying, "He's a frigging racist!" or whatever, but then that just means they are bigots as well, because they aren't tolerating him the same way he isn't tolerating interracial partners. We all just need to accept each other and get along.

i'm especially Irish/Puerto-Rican with mild epidermis, my lady pal is Jamaican, black as a results of fact the nighttime. it incredibly is the closest, maximum significant dating i've got ever been in. we've been at the same time for a splash over a year or maybe with the certainty that we've had many subject concerns (none to do with race), we are in elementary terms getting closer as a results of fact the time is going by. some relationships artwork, maximum do no longer. Race does not even come into play except between the events in touch is a closet racist.

It is normal to marry people of the same race, because a lot of interacial marriages divorce because the cultural differences are too much.

why should you marry someone you are not attracted to?!?!?! I'm not attracted to white men, black men only and that's what i plan on marrying, people should be allowed to choose who they want to marry. interracial relationships are a lot more common now a days then they used to be,although they are still taboo in some places.
apparently your friend is racist. your entitled to your own opinion, but you should respect other people and there choice.

disgusting? i don't think it's a normal thinking at all .. he sorta reminds me of hitler and the likes.. at least, i think so in the context of modern day experience where you see a european guy married to a chinese girl (and happily married at that!) etc... so i don't think it's disgusting at all. it all depends on time frame and context.. if he's as old as hitler would be if he is still alive, then maybe his statement would be valid. lol

Buy the guy a white robe and a hood for it.In todays world there is nothing wrong with interracial dating or marriage.Next time he says something like that, look at him and say "I guess you wont be coming to my house for dinner. My wife is black."This guy is a total bigot and needs to be shown it wont be tolerated in todays society.
