what if my employer was not able to inform SSS about my sickness although I was able to inform them early?

my employer was the one who made late filing to SSS.. Do I have the right to push them that it was their faults not mine .. are they obliged to pay me based on the days approved by my physician? is there a SSS law imposing for this negligence?
