NO! I've been both and much prefer being a brunette.

what looks better really seems to depend on your skin tone & what look you are going for.
women with fair skin seem to have a sortof "shine" with blonde hair; it really brightens up the whole face & produces a beautiful sortof glow. fair skin in combination with dark hair creates a more subtle kind of beauty, as the dark hair creates a nice frame for the face & the resulting contrast is gorgeous.
women with tan or brown skin, in my opinion, almost always look prettier with darker hair. dark skin + blonde hair creates a wierd sortof "photo negative" contrast look that i don't find attractive, but since the entire topic is subjective, i don't doubt there are men who love this combo.
ultimately the best guide is just to try it & see if you like it. if the color doesn't fit you, you can always let it grow out. good luck & hope this helps! =]

It's apples and oranges really. Though, i suppose it depends on your lovely features. Which do you feel frames your face more expressively?
Don't forget auburn! Another oft overlooked shade. The colour 'flame' is especially enticing!
Consider your eyes, face-shape, skin pallor, hair length etc., but in the end, you are the one to wear it. Go with what makes you feel good!

i think brunettes have it easier! they can hide things! ie greasiness (at least better than blond) split ends, messy hairdos, kinks
their hair is shinier becuase it relects sunlights while blond absorbs it!
