Wouldn't that be cool. After the fireworks are shot off Jesus appears and wishes everyone a happy fourth of July.

Everyone has their own thoughts on the subject. I have never thought of a specific day he will come, just what it would look like. 4th of July would be as good a day as any!!

Jesus is the SAVIOR OF THE WORLD not just Americans, so, no I don't think He'll come on the 4th of July.

Read Acts 1
"After Jesus said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.
"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

Jesus is not interested in wishing us a happy fourth of July, but those who have received Him into their lives have a greater joy EVERY DAY, than the fireworks can give you.

No, because only America celebrates July 4th. What about Christians in Germany? Or Australia?

It's only the US independence day and of course Canada Day, but you know the US and Canada are a pretty SMALL part of the world. You might as well say why not on 26th January (Australia Day)?

That would be cool, but as I understand, Jewish tradition holds that the Savior will come in the fall at the time of harvest. (Northern hemisphere)

The bible tells us that no man knows the hour or the day, but it doesn't say we don't have a rough idea of the time of year.

Don't hold your breath waiting.
I don't know whether Jesus would approve of a holiday to celebrate winning a war.
He would be more use in Baghdad or Afghanistan.

Any day He returns will be a great day.
But, the Bible says He'll come when He is not expected.

That's American Independence Day. Why would he return then? He isn't ours exclusively. If he did return, I doubt he turn up in our country anyways.
