Why in the world would you care what anyone thought of something you have on your body that is there to stay? I have a few scars and I could care less who likes them or who doesn't. It is my body and if they don't like they don't have to look at it. I think scars give you character. It is like a part of your life, saying you have done things and been places. My scars are part of me and I like them. Love yourself, stop worrying about what others think.

Honey i am scar central. Scars are a badge of life you just have to live with and if others don't like them or are turned off, tough!Thats their problem not yours. Some societies view scars as beautiful and go out of their way to create them. Its all in how you see yourself do you think having a scar makes you any less of a person than you were before you got it?I am grateful every day for the scars i have, each one has a story behind it that is unique to me alone. Most of them are a tribute to the fact i survived an accident or operation. They are little reminders to enjoy what you have. Its better than being dead.

I evaluate myself an extremely mature and lifelike individual. I attempt to no longer be shallow, yet only approximately no you possibly can say looks do no longer recommend something in the event that they do they're mendacity. I did say only approximately no person. besides the shown fact that, confident - Scars do turn me off. counting on the place they're and why the guy has them. So it relatively is an extremely board question in which you will get very board solutions. Edit: Patrick is partly dazzling. there is laser surgical treatment for removing scars. besides the shown fact that, it relies upon on the quantity of the scar. meaning how extreme that's. in case you have an arm it relatively is punctiliously scared from third degree burns, no volume of laser surgical treatment is going to help.

I've never really thought about it. Scars are just scars, everyone has different features on their skin, moles, birthmarks, freckles, scars, bumps, dry patches, whatever. I don't think any of them affect attractiveness unless they are perhaps quite prominent facial markings, or otherwise quite severe deformities. A scar on the back wouldn't be a turn on or a turnoff, it wouldn't really matter at all to me. At the most it might bring up a point of conversation - it's always interesting to know how people got scars. They make for good story telling, usually.
No worries. You don't have any reason to be concerned about it.

I guess it depends on the scar
They bring a certain uniqueness and character to everyone on a superficial level.
small scars on the extremities can be great conversation starters.
larger more disfiguring scars can make people uncomfortable.
Like anything that is perceived as "normal" in society it is what you make of it
(think Cindy Crawford's mole)
I think the most important thing to remember is that sexy above everything else is an attitude.

They do not matter at all to me, in fact it shows the person has been through life and has had a unique experience, every scar tells a story which makes that person completely different than the next. I have scars from playing sports, from falling through a glass window, and from being in a war....each one is, I think something that defines my life, and I am proud of them. As you should be of yours.

Scars fascinate me. I have a few of them. But don't let the idea of having one make you feel less attractive or sexy to the opposite sex. I think a scar tells a story and gives a person some extra character.

Well I know that Im a really outdoorsy kinda girl and I have so many tiny ones and then some not so tiny others. I know its definitely not the same for guys and girls but I would have to say that a scar on a guy is a turn on. Nobody likes a baby :P

I say it doesnt matter either way. It would not turn anybody off, but it might be a feature of unique attraction. Some imperfections like that only add to beauty. In other words, there is no negative and a possible positive.
