You have veins in this area called hemorrhoids. Due to the pressure exerted from defecation, they may have become inflamed. Try a warm rag to sooth the inflammation (and the soreness in general from the muscle strain). You should be fine soon, but make sure you are bleeding too much. If it is just a couple of spots, no biggie. If you have significant drops of blood in the bowl, then go to the doc post haste. Also, Dannon yogurt makes one with added fiber -- the antibiotics will not only kill your infection, but some of the natural bacteria that needs to be in your stomach for digestion. It will also help to balance the ph of your stool so that acid passing through due to lowered bacteria in your digestive tract won't irritate the inflammation further. And no, it isn't gross, just part of life.

Ok. this might be disgusting too. Antibiotics often not only kill bad bacteria, but the good bacteria that live in your intestines and stomach. This cause diarrhea and other digestive issues. The pain and the blood is probably from wiping. The skin around the anus is very delicate and tears easily, so if you have to wipe your butt a lot, it can get painful and a little bloody. Get some wet wipes and be gentle back there and everything should get back to normal.

Most likely you have hemorrhoids. Keep the area clean, and apply a topical ointment such as preparation H. Also, consider taking a stool softener and using glycerol suppositories. If these measures do not clear up the problem, see a physician.

Sounds like a hemorrhoid, which might have been caused by straining on the toilet. Get some Preparation H and see if that helps.

You just need to put a cream like Preparation H or even baby diaper rash like desitin my brother uses that all the time because he goes quite often and it works good.

these things may be unrelated. visit your doctor for an exam. your anus and rectum are parts of your body just like your eyes and abdomen. there is nothing to be ashamed of.
