Does the pH of Urine Change if the urine is contained over time?

If I have urine contained in testing cups for 24- hours i don't know if the pH will change and mess up my experiment.

Definitely yes. Fresh voided urine pH varies which is affected by various factors including the diet and medicines. Standing urine increases its pH usually caused by bacteria as they break down urea to ammonia turning into an "ammoniacal" alkaline urine . To avoid or minimize changes close your cups well or tightly and keep it refrigerated at 2-8°C.
