You would die very quickly...no air to breathe.
Gravity is what keeps the air here at the surface of the Earth instead of having it drift of into space.
Next, with no gravity, you, yourself would float of into space with no means of controling your movement upwards or downwards once fixed things were out of your reach.
Naturally if the Sun's nuclear fusion were to stop, things would get pretty cold, pretty fast. So maybe in your death you would have a cold night or two beforehand.
The direction that the planets would move depends upon where they were in their orbital paths around the Sun. They would not all move off in the same direction... Deep Space is any direction away from the Earth, or in this case the Sun...
Therefore Joshua would not have stoped the sun, nor is joshua God, raising his hands on the lunar ecliptic purposely to fool everyone to think he is a prohphet.

What? Who says gravity is what holds you down. Now one knows that for sure. Gravity is just a theory. I say it is God who keeps the air here. And just what makes you think things would get cold? Don't you know God could keep things at whatever temperature he liked. The direction the planets would move would depend on how God wanted them to move. You Atheist say what would happen in a miracle but you forget if its a miracle God is doing It not Joshua. bless you BB

God told Job, everything under Heaven and in Heaven is His. God controls nature and even the sun. God is the Creator and nature is at its knee's when it comes to Him.
Joshua didn't stop the sun, God did. Joshua does not have any power over nature, only God does. With God all things are possible, same thing goes with Noah's Ark.

Joshua didn't stop the sun.... God did in answer to Joshua's prayer. He didn't stop the sun from shining - he stopped the earth from moving around the sun. God can do anything because he created it.
