The scariest people are the ones who believe they have a god on their side who approves of everything they do. That alone tells you how arrogant they are and unless they are contained will continue to bring misery to the world. Doesn't matter what faith they are claiming because they are all the same.

Omar, the caliph who succeeded Mohammed, delineated in his Charter of Omar the twelve laws under which a dhimmi, or non-Muslim, was allowed to exist as a "nonbeliever" among "believers." The Charter codified the conditions of life for Jews under Islam -- a life which was forfeited if the dhimmi broke this law. Among the restrictions of the Charter: Jews were forbidden to touch the Koran; forced to wear a distinctive (sometimes dark blue or black) habit with sash; compelled to wear a yellow piece of cloth as a badge (blue for Christians); not allowed to perform their religious practices in public; not allowed to own a horse, because horses were deemed noble; not permitted to drink wine in public; and required to bury their dead without letting their grief be heard by the Muslims.
Today, terrorism refers to Islamist terror. It will end when decent nations use their military power to defeat the terrorists overwhelmingly, as happens in any war. Take WW II, where the Allied victory over the Nazis and over Japan was so clear and overwhelming that the enemies had no choice but to sue for peace on the terms of the Allied forces.

I didn't know there was a holy war / jihad or whatever going on between Christians and Muslims. I thought this was a war brought on by Bush protecting the cost of oil-this has nothing to do with Religion. The word 'Crusade' simply slipped out of his mouth-anyway that's an issue for the Americans to deal with before this war puts their economy into recession (the cost will far outweigh the benefits) Frankly the rest of the world doesn't give a sh**

I'm afraid that I agree with you. It's more of a sense of what is going on for me than quotes from sources. They seem to be saying the same things about each other only in the words of the cultures that they come from. The west doesn't see itself as saying the same but to some one from an Islam country they are. Neither side is willing to see the other's point of view and each is convinced of it's righteousness. It is frightening to be in the middle.

First of all Christians and Muslims do not follow the same "God". The God of the Bible is vastly different from Allah of the Quran. I don't see how you can compare Christians and Muslims at all.. Muslims hate non-Muslims and send them to their deaths in the name of Islam. Christians love non-Christians and introduce them to life in the name of Christ. Big difference.

The real war is between God and satan, but all people choose sides (even not choosing is a choice against God). For Christians, we know who has already won the war for the word of God declares it.

I just can't believe how naive you are to believe that the Christian God is the same as the god of the Islamic people. In the words of my college president, he is the antichrist.

Any person, no matter if the person is a believer or not, as long as the person is not a Muslim, the person is an "infidel" and radical Islam is against him. So, if you think that bowing our heads to them, we will win anything, think again.

The Muslims are out to get all those who are not Muslims. They are the ones declaring war on the entire non-Muslim world. So if you are Muslim, you are the attacker. If you are Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Atheist, etc, you are the defender. Pure and simple.
