Yes...

My brother does it all the time. He buys broken cameras on e-Bay and swaps parts to make a whole camera, PDA, Phone, Radio... whatever.

He's a radio technician, by trade.

if its newer maybe. only worth it if you can do it yourself (buy a dead 1 on ebay then swap screens)
