YES IT HURTS

2007-06-03 16:26:12 · answer #1 · answered by rajan naidu 7 · 0 0

I have my belly button peirced and have for a while, the only thing that I only thought hurt was the clamps they used to hold the skin, and then the needle just felt like a tug on the skin. Honestly after I got mine done it was no big deal, no bigger than getting my ears peirced.

Hope everything goes well.
Ashley.

I think it all depends on your taste for pain. Belly button piercing if done right is not that bad. Just make sure you are going to someone who has been doing it for awhile. Also no matter how tempted you are, do not change the ring they put in there until the required is up. I changed my ring 2 weeks after the piercing and put in a banana type and my piercing rejected it. Essentially it pushed the belly ring right out and I had to let it close. So make sure you do what they tell you.

Good luck and have fun with it.

That is sooo high school!!! lol, but I got mine done 4 yrs ago and it didn't hurt a bit. what they do is distract you by asking wierd questions until you say "WHAT" and they stick the needle in which you wont see cause your lyig down and it feels like a tap ( the needle is so skinny)

Good luck!! & make sure you clean it twice a day for a month after you get it done.

before i got mine everyone told me it was going to be really painful, but it wasnt. it was over so fast, the only thing is that it bleeds for a while afterwards (like 10 min). actually, getting my ears pierced hurt more than my naval.

It does hurt and can get irritated easily. If its 'that time of the month', you're more sensitive to pain. Be careful to avoid an infection too.

it varies from person to person, but for me it was this intense pinching...it actually hurts more when they remove the tube and insert the ring than when theyre actually poking the needle through. needless to say, the pain is worth it
