I (am/was) on both of those/these sites, and not to be mean or anything, but there are/were some ugly-*** people on that site (eHarmony)! Like, match.com actually has a lot of attractive people on it--girls and guys, but eHarmony.com...gosh, 99% of the people sent to me were ugly mofos. Even the girls are all fat or/and very unattractive.

Anyone know why this is?? I mean eHarmony costs more so you'd think it'd have better lookers on it...

Well, I've never really used either of them myself, but here's what I can gather about them from looking around on their sites and reading reviews:

eHarmony: Chooses matches for you (if you're a guy), won't let you know if your match is a subscriber or not (so you don't know if you'll get a reply), does not accept everyone (I tried to apply, and I got rejected because their matching system allegedly doesn't work for a certain percentage of the population)

Match.com: You get to search through matches, at least.

Both: Old profiles are not removed, so your searches are cluttered with them. Yahoo seems to have this problem too. It's been a while since I've looked that up though, but I suspect nothing has changed on any of those sites.

Good night!
