I have a thick skin and, truth be told, I'm pretty dense when it comes to recognizing that someone has hurt me.... it takes me awhile to realize it, and then I cry.

I hate to admit this, but I usually get angry. Then once the initial anger wears off, I tend to wonder what I did to cause the other person to react the way that they did. I ask myself if I was wrong or provoked them somehow.
Then I dissolve into a puddle of tears and swear that I won't have anything else to do with that person, EVER. That resolution lasts just about as long as it takes God to remind me that He's forgiven me over and over and over again.
I know, I know. . .I'm a pretty pathetic Christian, and I admit it.

Depends on my attidue and other influences at the time.
One month this "big boss" was bearing down hard on me and his "big boss" was bearing down hard on him and I was between a rock and a hard place and a girl I like a lot miffed me majorily and I just fragmented and blew off horrible steam and just went psychotic.
I got pushed ONE micron too far
When I'm mellow I just shine it on, but I have to be really mellow for that to happen.
My job for 30 years has been CUSTOMER SERVICE
My JOB is to TAKE CA CA DO DO from people with a smile
My JOB is to be a professional WHIPPING BOY
But sometimes people like my BIG BOSS take it too far when I'm called back into the office and told 3 people reported me for stinking
I told him, I work very hard and build up a sweat and if people don't like that, too bad.
I told him I walk 2.2 miles to work because WORK doesn't pay me enough to own a car
If he don't like it, that's too bad
I got stuff I put on TV, Radio and into print
If he don't like me, I'm sure I'll find others who will pay me $8 an hour to work very hard and take CA CA DO DO from people
He makes $50 K a year and gets a car and he's fat and he sweats and he can't stoop down and pick up a paper clip
If he don't like me, tough
But I do need income, so I fear him
NO one should be in that kind of a position
That's called VICTIM of TERRORISM
Does that answer your question
50% of the world lives PAYCHECK to PAYCHECK and I'm one of them
No job and in six months, tops, I'll be on the street living in a cardboard box.
My current BIG CLAIM TO FAME is I can go to Applebees two times a month and buy a nice meal
I used to live on Baloney sandwiches and Campbells soup.
I repeat, I got stuff on TV, Radio and into print.
That and $1.27 will buy you a cup of coffee at Denny's

I want to strike out. Normally though I stop and think about it for a while before I decide how to really react.

to ask myself "why did it hurt me". Then to ask myself if there was any truth in what was being said. If after that I find all is well, I chalk it up to being their problem not mine. 50% of the time there is truth in it

Depends on the situation and how bad I am hurt.
It can range from cussing them out to distancing myself from them.
