Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and John Edwards clearly do not believe in Global Warming.
They all live in monstrous mansions that use more than ten times more energy than the average family of 4.
They all fly in private jets that use over 1,000 times more fossil fuel per mile than the most wasteful SUV.
So you can add Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and John Edwards to your list of people who do not believe in Global Warmiing.
And yes, I agree with you, I think were screwed.

I don't believe that we are 100% of the cause but I do believe the earth is heating up, but then there has been about 7 ice ages which would mean that the earth heated up about 7 times also.
This is not an old issue, it just has a new label. Back in the 70's and early 80's, the air polution was worse than it is today in the US.
I think the bigest problem with this is that it is now a political issue instead of a scientific one. Al Gore is not going to change anything flying around in his private jets and living in his oversized houses. He thinks that you should do all of the changes and while you are at it vote him and his party mates into political office. If he wants to be the Fix Global Warming Leader, he needs to lead by example. Don't just talk it, AL, you need to walk it too. And buying carbon credits does not count, that is no different than a FAT guy paying some skinny guy to loose weight for him. I wish that would work, any one want to sell me about 50 lbs of FAT credits? I'll pay top dollar; sorry not that stupid.

I don't believe there is global warming. If where you are and you are having to shed some clothing then you probably think there is. Where I am it's freezing so I don't think so. In Auckland NZ temperatures have been recorded for the last fifty years and the average high is 19 degrees and the average low is 12 degrees. Does that indicate global warming or climate change. Not in my book. If you are looking for some interesting reading try the first site below . If you want to see something to watch go to second site and look at Global Warming Swindle

I am uncertain, but that doesn't mean we're screwed.
Most of the things that are believed to contribute to global warming make common and economic sense to remedy whether man-made global warming is real or just theory.
For example, reducing gasolione and fossil fuel comsumption will reduce CO2. But that can simply come from getting better fuel economy because CO2 emissions are in direct relation to gasoline consumption -- cut consumption 25% and you reduce CO2 emitted by 25% (assuming the same mileage driven). Plus you save 25% on your fuel bill.
Use CFL bulbs and you will save more than the cost of the bulb several times over plus you reduce CO2 emissions.
Get an air conditioner wtih a higher SEER rating, and you can cut your colin gbill by 40%, again saving money and cutting CO2 emissions.
To me this is rather like the philosopher-mathematician Pascal's view about whether or not there is a God. He thought believing in God and being wrong (no life after death) had less downside than not believing in God and being wrong (damnation).
Actually, believing in global warming and being wrong has an upside. Acting as though global warming is real, we can get cleaner air, reduce our extravagent waste of natural resources and save money. Even if we are wrong, we still win.

I think you meant to say 'If less than 70% answer yes, I'd say we're screwed'. But yes. I believe in global warming. And I agree with your 'If less than 70% answer yes, we're screwed' statement.

Oh yes, we're screwed all right. Because I believe we have already reached the point where no one seriously believes we can return. We will never get the US and China to end their CO2 industrial emissions, nor will we stop the third world countries such as Brazil from practicing deforestation. Wood is still the builders choice of materials even though certain metals and alloys have proven to be of greater lasting strength. So the forests will continue to disappear. So what do we do? Well, to quote Hank, Jr.: "How long can we hold our breath?"

I know global warming is real.
EDIT: Obviously there are an infinite number of variables to take into consideration and scientists can never be 100% certain. I sincerely hope the legions of scientists are wrong because our window to take action is getting very narrow. But I am not naïve enough to say we sound sit on our hands and wait to see… an air quality advisory occurred in my area this week, we are pumping carcinogens into our air, asthma and allergies are worse, and the sun rays are stronger. Even without global warming conservation is not a bad idea.

Social Way helps reducing Global Warming by sharing your things.
www.socialway.com is a great website.
It's motto is: Share and save, the Eco-friendly way.
You can share your old textbooks, lend your tools, or anything you have to reduce carbon footprint in the world. So far, the Social Way, has reduced. 6,362 lb CO2 and you can continue the movement! Here's how.
Every transaction that you do on SocialWay saves carbon dioxide emissions - whether you lend or borrow, giveaway or receive an item. You can save more emissions by becoming an active member of SocialWay and by spreading the word. Post more of your stuff; invite more friends, neighbors, colleagues to use your stuff; find more people to post their stuff so that you can borrow rather than buy. It is amazing how much your SocialWay tree can grow through these actions. Borrowing or lending just one book can grow your acorn to a 2-year old tree.

Global warming is a fact and there's no stopping it.
Man can not be held responsible for it's being but can account for speeding the process up
Global warming is natural it has hapend so many times in our past and will happen again.
Our very own planet and it's inhabitants are giving off harmful gasses all the time

and i believe as well
I know were are screwed because i have been answering questions in Environment for some time
And i can tell you right now
that 70% is an optimistic point of view
dont go by this one survey do it every day for a week ,because not all the skeptics are home right now ,they tend to be right wing and religious ,which means that they spend some time behind bottles.

I have been informed of global warming since I was a little girl.
It should be accepted by everyone AS A FACT and not as a political issue. Part of this has been caused by humankind, however it is also to be contributed to the natural evolution of our Earth.
There are many things we can do to slow down this process.
Let's look at the earth as we do our bodies. We know if we exercise, eat right, and take care of ourselves that we might live longer, healthier lives. Our appearance will also reflect our lifestyle. If we take care of our planet the benefits will be insurmountable.
