What's wrong with me? o_0?

Question

I'm having major guy issues. As in, I don't have a guy to have an issue with. I'm sixteen, and I swear, no guy has ever shown serious interest in me. I mean sure, I get approached sometimes when I'm out on the weekends, but nothing serious. No boyfriend. No dates. Nothing. I'm not irresistably attractive, but I didn't think I was an ogre or something! My friends even tell me I should be a model! (5'10", blonde hair, blue eyes, thin?) I'm not unintelligent or ditzy (I'm in all AP classes) and I thought I had an OK personality, but now I'm really starting to doubt myself. My self-esteem is on it's way to the gutter. I was wondering if anybody could brainstorm some ideas to help my non-existant love life? Thanks for any help you can provide. I honestly appreciate it!

Not exactly flirty with guys. I just feel awkward when guys approach me because I feel like it's a joke to them, or their friends put them up to it. Yeah, I know it's my problem to deal with, but I'm not quite sure I know how to get over my shyness/insecurities.

I'm pretty much in the same position except i'm not that smart or that tall lol. But don't worry about it nothing is wrong with you. Your time will come when it comes. My idea is just to think positive and if there is a guy you like just go for it. There is no rule against the girl making the first move. Good luck!!!

I don't think there's nothing wrong with you. If you're inteligent and pretty, it's a killer combo for the right guy, but it might frighten some guys to approach you..

And no, don't play dumb. You'll find the right guy. Maybe you're searching for guys in the wrong site, I don't know. Maybe guys try to aproach you, find you're not easy and get scared away... but they're not worth it anyway, so don't fret over it.

You'll find a guy that will take good care of you and treat you nice. You still have a looooong life ahead of you, don't worry to much for that right now.

There are lots of guys just like you. Except it's worse for guys because we are expected to make the approach. I'm sure there are lots of guys like you all around. Just go talk to a few of them and see how it goes. Ask some of them out! Notice I said "some" as in plural . . . you might not get a date with the first several guys you ask out. Good luck!

Look around you, what type of girls have girlfriends? It's mostly the girls that ask the guy themselves, or the girls that are easy to get. You have everything a guy would want, therefore, you are hard to get because they are too nervous to ask you out. It's how I used to be, I would always put off asking this girl out because she was too perfect to be true. I finally got the confidence to ask her out, and now I am the happiest guy on the face of this universe.

I would ask a guy you like out, or just keep waiting. There isn't much you can do, the minds of the guys around you won't change much at this age.

If your self-esteem is truly in the gutter, that might be your problem. People pick up on self-image. If you don't like yourself, how can you expect someone else to? You are very young, and the chances are almost perfect that your boyfriend(s) at this time will not be long term. Love yourself and have fun!

Are you flirty in any way towards guys?
Some guys dont bother much with girls
unless they are being a flirt towards them.

Well, I have some friends that are like that. Just don't take things as serious. Flirting isnt really a big thing, its just an easy way to feel good about one another, and make friends.
Just flirt with some cute ones a little bit, if they decide to be gay about it, then they are probably just immature, dont bother with those. :]

You sound beautiful, and extremely smart. Basically a perfect catch, and that can be intimidating to guys. You are young and beautiful. When these guys approach you, how do you come off? Do you give your number? Do you take their number? When you are approached try to strike up a conversation, win them with your personality and a follow up call is almost a guarantee.

Talk to people @ school, guys specifically...and hey, you don't have to worry about a serious relationship just yet, you're still young! It'll just come when it comes, you can't rush love...it just kinda jumps up from behind you and gives you a big hug. suprising, but nice, unless you don't like contact with other people...then you wouldn't want that anyway...

if you do want to have a bf, try to befriend several guys in your class...maybe next year since school is over, or in summer school?

it depends on where you go. i'm not hot or anything and i got one so theres nothing saying you can't either! i met mine at the speedway. so you gotta go places, do you have a hobby? and if you do like someone it might help by giving him the eyes as well. make sure he sees you checking him out, and somethimes you may need to make the first move and talk to a guy.
