Well you see, from an esoteric view of point. Dead people live on a higher sphere than us, thus we can't see him. (Divinie sphere is the highest-->God) But I guess when you live an extremely emotionnal time(such a death of a loved one), you could see ghosts.
Hope that helps

Well...always been a skeptic...but have had a few things happen here and there over the years. The only one that was fully clear on who was actually a cat. Can't mistake having heard his 'meow' some months after he passed...and every family member in this house had the same experience individually at the cabinet where the cat food had been kept. I actually had it happen at least twice. I literally turned around and looked, then said his name hoping to hear it again. lol
He also used to mess with one of those spring door bumpers and make it make that weird "spring" noise... and some months after he passed my mother occasionally kept hearing it and we kept trying to figure it was the hot water heater or something making noise. But she was once downstairs and heard the sound come from the top of the steps (the door in question was by the basement door). I only ever heard it once and sure enough it was no doubt that bumper. We had these things happen, but they were not immediate, he'd been gone for a number of months.
I've had other things happen that I have never been able to explain. Still, I'm a skeptic and only go with what I've actually experienced and can't explain, but who knows, I think *maybe* there is something to it...maybe they just can't always get anything across. Or maybe your mom, or you, just aren't able to do it or notice it quite yet.

I woke up one Saturday morning, about a week after my mom made her transition...I smelled coffee. My wife sets up the coffee for me on weekdays, but not the weekend. This coffee smelled better than any I ever smelled before. I went into the kitchen, and found a cold, empty pot, and the aroma faded away.
Coffee was always a central part of our activities; Mom and I liked our coffee very much.
Your attitudes will color your experience; that is, you will set up barriers to your viewpoint by turning your attention away from what you wish to experience. Your back is turned away from "the whole ghost thing."
It is likely that your mother is busy learning how to use her abilities within her "new" environment. But if she is attempting to answer you, you will not hear her, until you become quiet, and listen. Your attitude must be open and receptive, and calm. It may not happen when you think it should, or the way you think it should...but if you really want it, you will experience your mother's presence. Don't give up.

My uncle died in December of 2004. And 1 week after that, at Christmas all these strange things were happening. Like chairs falling over, and puzzles games being unsolved and then the next morning they were on the table completed! It was weird. I love him and miss him very much. Nothing that strange has happened since then but I can still feel his presence from time to time. She may be sending you messages, just look harder. Really try to feel it!

First, just want to say sorry for your loss. But, yes...I've had many dreams about my deceased loved ones. Have you had any dreams about your mother? . What is this sign you are looking for? Is it a specific thing or just a certain feeling? Maybe you're looking for something huge to happen instead of something ordinary...for example if you mother liked gardening and you had a favorite flower, did anyone give you this favorite flower recently quite by accident? Good luck with your search...just know she hears you and is certainly with you.
Peace, Love, and Blessings

My mum died nearly three years ago two days before my birthday......since that time i have been very sad, and especially so on my birthday....We had always agreed that if one of us should die we would get a message to the other....
Well i waited.....
For so long i thought it was impossible.......
Then last year on my birthday.....I got a sign that she was near,, that i could not deny.....My house was filled for the whole day with the strong scent of her unmistakeable perfume....Yet there was none in the house....This lasted the whole day and was detected by everyone who was in my home that day!
It was, i feel, my mother telling me to smile and enjoy my day, and that she was near to me.....
How Blessed I Felt!
I know it is very hard to wait......
But your mum knows your waiting and she will come through to you when she is strong enough!
I hope this is sooner rather than later for you!
Blessings!

I used to have quite animated conversations with my Grandfather... about 3years after his death. I also saw my Aunt the night she died, standing in my bedroom doorway, smiling... she died in a hospital over 500kms away.

Yes I have.
Try this. Don't try and look for signs from her. When something happens and it causes you to think of her that's her trying. If you smell something that reminds you of her and there is no reason for that smell, that is her.

No signs, nothing
The dead are gone
Just the faith we have to believe is what comforts us
