I was just diagnosed with food allergies to dairy, soy, and tree nuts. As of right now if I eat them I get extremely sick (vomiting, bathroom trips, not pretty). Is it possible if I keep eating these foods that it will grow into the typical rash-hives-itchy allergies?

Yes, highly possible and probable. It can even morph into a lifethreatening scenario where you have breathing problems. Food allergies are no different than a medication allergy, and should be taken as seriously. The allergic reaction within the body is the same, and there is no way to predict when a more severe reaction will happen. Safest thing to do is avoid the things that make you sick.

I don't think the type of reaction will change. Instead it will probably get more severe. I react like you do to poultry. You don't want to wind up in the hospital with dehydration.
