Anyone know someone who changed their beliefs based on something they read on yahoo answers?

I was studying Islam when I found Yahoo Answers and I came here to learn more. I already knew I would convert one day, as I am married to a Muslim man and living in his country. The help and guidance I received from so many wonderful Muslims here helped make that process much easier for me. Actually, I had made the decision to convert but could not commit to actually doing it until I had a very long, heart-to-heart with a wonderful Muslim woman here named Sarah T. It was then that I realized that I was already living a Muslim lifestyle, I just needed to make it official. On May 4 my husband (my inspiration) and his family and I all went to a beautiful mosque in Morocco where I said the Shahada in front of over 100 Muslim men, women and children. It was a beautiful experience and one I will never forget.

So, to answer your question... Nothing here changed my beliefs, but a lot of what I learned here confirmed that Islam was right for me.

Not based on what I read here, but being here for the last 10 months (different name/account) has encouraged me to examine my beliefs and that caused me to change.

Was christian now agnostic edging slowly to atheism.

Yes. I know one person who became a Muslim, Terry G.

Now I went from being an Asatruar to being an atheist during my stay on here.

There's a few people who became Pagan.

Yes. I know we have at least one new sister in Christ.
Unfortunately, there are probably some who have been influenced by others to grow weak.

I've not seen any conversions to christianity, islam or judaism.. I have seen several people become atheists after being here awhile. I've also seen some who turned to paganism in some form.
