No, I didn't grow up in a Church. My testimony is WAY too long to post here, but you can read it on my blog if you are really interested:

I did grew up in the church, but that doesn't mean that is the sole reason why I am a Christian. I am now living on my own, and I still decide to walk the path of Christ. I made a choice a long time ago to follow Christ. I figured out that my life was much better with Christ than it was without Him. I was raised in the United Methodist church and as I am on my own now, I choose to stay in that church because it is home to me. I pray that everyone finds a church home like I have. I have a growing passion to folllow Christ. That passion will never die.

I was saved as a child. I did not grow up in the church but my mother became a Christian and she and I started going to church. I got saved because I knew there was someone out there and I was seeking to know Him. When I learned about Christs death on the cross and how you can have a relationship with God it answered the questions that I had been asking myself about life, God and the afterlife.

My family started going to church when I was about 7 years old. I went to church and sunday school and I believed everything, not because I was an ignorant child, but because I really understood and it made perfect sense.
I don't remember an exact date of when I was saved, but I've been with God through many struggles and good times ever since. I am saved and have been since I was about 8 or 9 years old.

I was in a Christian church until around 8 years old then my parents quit taking us.
I always believed in God. I always knew he was there, I could feel him. I prayed to him every night.
My mother was into new age stuff and i knew it was wrong, I didn't now why it was I just knew.
As a child I had a friend who's mother died and I prayed over and over again for God to let my mother live until she was very old and let my father live until I had my first child.
When I was a teen and early 20's I got into drugs and the rest.
I got married late and when I was 35 was pregnant and it was a surprise. I was 8 months along and my father told me he had a "bad" blood test. Right then and there I heard a voice in my head say, "It's time now."
I had goose bumps all over my body even on my head!
4 month after my daughter was born my father died.
That brought my sorry butt back to church!
I have many other stories like that.
God is real, God loves us and wants us to come to him for salvation.

I grew up going to church and I got saved because I was afraid I would be sent to hell for eternity by God/Jesus/Holy Spirit if I didn't accept Him as my Lord and Savior.
