My daughter had this problem very recently. We bought a creme called Lamisil. Its is an anti-fungus creme used for athletes foot. Ringworm is actually a fungus and not a worm. You can also use the generic brand as well. It will work just fine. But make sure that it is applied at least twice daily and for a week or more to completely clear it up.

Ringworm is highly contagious and can be passed very easily. This is what happen to you. All these over the counter measures and home remedies may be OK for testing but, I would want to get rid of it right now. Number one, you are passing it to your friends and companions that you come in contact with. They could be pretty mad at you, I would be so.
Go to your doctor, get the proper meds, a soap a wash and med to stop it, you have to go through a series of time and wash or it doesn't work. This along with washing clothes and bedding. All family members are included.

If ringworm is on the skin, you can simply visit your local grocery store or pharmacy to get a tube of medication, without an rx. Ringworm is the same bacteria that causes althete's foot and "jock-itch", so Lamisol or a store brands will work if you apply them 2-3x/day

Ringworm is a fungus.
Antifungal cream sold at most stores.
Antibiotics probably wouldn't be too effective on a fungus anyway. No antibiotics are "healthy". They kill all the natural bacteria in your body which help you stave off infection. Avoid antibiotics whenever possible and not life threatening.

The only thing you have to do is go to your nearest drugstore or whatever, go to the medicated creams section and look for a medicine named, "Blue Star". Its specifically for things like ring worm. Just rub it on there, and wa-la. :)

Use foot fungus cream. Since ringworm is a fungus, the directions on it list it as a cure for ringworm. Try Lotrimin.

Usually the doctor will prescribe an anti-fungal cream. It usually works great and no oral medications are normally necessary.
