You are correct on all accounts, in my opinion.

By the way, I like your choice of definition for "religion". Atheism, in its strong form, fits that definition. That's why I call my beliefs a religion. I wish some of my fellow strong atheists would admit that.

Most definitions of religion include mention of gods, or at least the supernatural. The definition you provide is, I believe, one of four found in the American Heritage Dictionary. The other three involve 'supernatural power', 'religious order' and 'spiritual leader' respectively. Your definition is not the meaning implied by the word 'religion' in the context of Yahoo! Answers' Religion and Spirituality section.

That's not to suggest, of course, that those who don't believe in supernatural powers or belong to a religious order don't belong here. You don't have to believe in faeries to use the Mythology and Folklore section.
