He really should get it looked at by a doctor. Better safe than sorry!

Well....A Dr can figure that one out, cuz they know all about health, body and mind. It helps to ask in here and see if anyone knows, gives you hints what to expect at the Dr's office.

Yea, more likely irritation from leg rubbing the other on that sore spot...Hopefully you will find someone to shed some light here.

Good luck!

he may have a fistula caused by an ingrown hair, it became irritated and may have eventually gotten infected. If you feel comfortable, clean a needle w/ alcohol and burn the tip in fire for a few seconds, make sure the needle tip doesnt touch anything that can contaminate the tip, once cool pop in bump, squeeze out the blood, and pull out the hair.

its a boil , at bed time, use some sav, smear some on and put a bandaid over it and let it prop up on a pillow or sumtin to keep from rubbin it off in the night, then the next morning it will be popped and ooozing out and on its way to clearing up, things will be better now, it will be empty of its poison and now you just keep clean and neosporin the crap outta it whenever ya can, keep it covered. goodluck

it could be a cyst of some kind, I don't buy the vein thing.
I think it's worth a trip to a Doctor. I know I would go.

Have him go see his doctor soon. My husband had something like that 9 years ago and it turned out to be testicular semenoma. Something like what Lance Armstrong and Scott Hamilton had.If you get it early enough it won't spead like in Lance's case.
