The term "magic trick" in and of itself is an illusion. There is no such thing as magic. However, as a street magician, you don't want to walk up to somebody and ask "hey, can i trick you?". It just isn't as cool. They sell David Blaine's and Chris Angel's magic tricks on DVD format at sites like Penguinmagic.com or ellusionist.com. I do a little amateur street magic myself. It's alot of fun learning and performing it. It's all an illusion, though. I usually tell people after, especially if they are freaking out about destiny and stuff, that it is just a trick. It's a good ice breaker for witnessing too if you want to show someone how their mind can be deceived.

No, you probably missed the special on tv about 2 years ago where this guy was paid a large amount of money to expose David Blain's magic tricks. He went through all of David Blain's tricks and exposed every one of them. Sorry, his magic is not real. No, David Blain is just another good magician.

David Blain is a wealthy guy and makes his cash by means of publicising himself. He can have the funds for to pay for any TV results he needs. I think the way in which he always seeks TV exposure implies that the whole thing he does is media tips

I think he uses camera tricks to make his levitation stunt and other unbelievable things. He admitted he has no magic powers and uses illusions on his underwater special "Drowned Alive". His other stunts are not magic but just him trying to get attention by doing weird stuff.

Nah They're fake. there is no such thing as real magic but people can come pretty close to making stuff like that seem pretty real.
