I'm not asking what do you perfer shy or serious. I mean out of all qualities what do you like in a girl. And also how do a shy/serious guy tell or show a girl that he likes her.

I like a girl that I can have a conversation with most times. She has got to be able to hold up her end most times otherwise I'm bored out of my mind.
