Can the sleeves be fixed in time? The wedding is in 2 weeks..
Should we just buy a new one and start over ????

He says it feels too tight but I think its just because he's not used to it? Or is it really bad? Can it be fixed in time ?? Or is it not fixable (the sleeves)

The sleeves are definitely a bit short, but most tailors can do a quick alteration. You should have time.

You should be a magician being able to stuff that husky guy into that teeny jacket.

Hell yes it's too tight! BTW ... never put a big guy into those long jackets . . . even with the vertical stripes they make a husky guy look "dumpy". Get him a jacket that FITS across the shoulders (natural shoulders are best .. he doesn't need any more padding) and one that has the right sleeve length. And don't get him those dippy long jackets . . . a two-button with just one button buttoned . . . or if a 3-button . . .button just the middle button. And NO DOUBLE BREASTED . . . otherwise he'll look like a MAFIA enforcer.

When you go to get a jacket for him ... have him wear the shirt he's going to wear. There should be about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of cuff showing when his hands are at his side and the jacket is on if the sleeves are the proper length. If he curls his fingers upwards they should just be able to touch the bottom edge of the jacket sleeve.

Good luck and I send your man my sympathies . ..

It definitely looks too tight. Take a look at the way it's fitted snugly around the chest, and the sleeves are too short. It's definitely not too late to get it re-fitted! My friend is getting his last fitting done 3 days before his wedding! The tailor should be able to let it out a bit. It shouldn't feel too snug.

That's plenty of time to get something done - seek out a great tailor, best place to start is at a good men's store - they would either have one on site, or be able to refer you. Should be able to be done within a week.

He won't be Lifting his arms above his head looks fine to me, you cant get a suit that reaches to your wrists when you reach out unless it hangs past his hands. Try taking some pictures of him holding his hands out like he will in the wedding and see what it will look like.

Me myself I think it looks fine

it looks ok to me. the sleeves aren't going to reach all the way down when he lifts his arms or they will be too long when he stands normally.
