I suffer regular headaches and i feel the pain in my neck as well. I saw a chiropractor because medication doesnt seem to make a difference, nor does diet. he said my left hip is higher than the right and right shoulder is higher than the left. so I'm wonky! Does anyone know what this means?
Also i am getting xrays done. does anyone else think chiropractic therapy is good? or bad? i dont know whether it will work for me but its an option and just wondering what everyones views are on it. thanks :-)

A good chiropractor is worth their weight in gold. I have seen many people helped by chiropractic care when there was nothing else to be done medically. Let the doctor work on you and ask him what his diagnosis meant. I think you will feel better within a month.

Hi, I used to have the exact same problem..and I too see a chiropractor..what it means is that your vertebrae has shifted and caused one side to be slightly higher than the other..like say you're always sitting kinda lopsided or you have your head tilted alot..your bones just get stuck in that position because your muscles get used to it and are trying to accommodate for the misplacement..often times they call this a 'subluxation,' which means that it is a slight misplacement of the spinal bones. You should go ahead and get the x-rays, they will often show the degree that the bones are off and can also show if they are starting to wear out from being out of place.

you probably will have to get regular therapy to get rid of your headaches..it took me about 2 months to get rid of mine, i was a passenger in 2 car accidents in 1 month, and now i hardly ever get a headache and i can tell when my hips are not right, cause i feel it when wearing high-heels...then i just go back, get my adjustments and I'm good to go.

i hope this helps, and good luck.

A chiropractor can do a lot of good, but don't just get one out of the phone book, because he can also mess you up. Ask around and see if someone would recommend one. There is good and bad wherever you go.
If you have allergies, and the headache is as bad as migraine, it could be a histamine headache - something you've eaten or inhaled, like wood or plant mold in the air. That kind of headache can only be stopped by antihistamines plus aspirin, for me. Good luck.
