I believe animals talk all the time. How often do you listen?
In biblical times thier diets were free of any preservatives and chemicals. Why would it not be possible?

Yeah, why is that hard to believe? Go to a mental institution or a pyschiatric ward. You will see people talking to themselves and different voices coming out of them. You know it is not the people, but demons inside of them. Your focusing in on the animals rather than what's working behind the animals to make them speak. Read the bible, the bible said that the devil was speaking through the snake. Also, the angel made the donkey talk. You can't see angels or demons with your physical eye, but there are still speaking through this day. You will still hear people tell stories about their dog or cat or pet spoke to them. In Arkansas in 1980, on channel 7, there was a story about a talking dog. The dog could say momma and daddy just like a person and a few other words.

Did the donkey have Eddie Murphy's voice? I was quite shocked to find out that Donkey from the fairy tale story Shrek was the donkey from the bible.
That was a very subtle slight on christians!
I believe the "serpent" from the garden story was actually described as a wyvern. Not only did it lose its voice and legs, it, also, lost its wings!

You seem to discount that God created all things, and with the order that they have.
Take a sunset for example - if you had never seen one and someone said the sun will go down over about a half hour and will have beautiful colors and reflections then it will be dark - would you mock that?
God is greater than we know and can do all things, and created all the things we know - which you seem to take for granted too You also leave out (conveniently) the context of these events. Laugh away but grow up - it is a matter of faith and you, at the least, need to respect that.

Adam and Eve and Noah stories are a parable from a document that Moses had in his possesion. It is scripture but different from the rest of the writing of Moses that started with Abraham.

Not only did that old serpent talk but he lost his legs and God forced him to crawl on his belly for deceiving Eve and Adam.
The angel opened the donkey's mouth so the donkey could tell his dumb master that an angel was standing in the way ready to kill him if he continued in disobeying Almighty God.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of Almighty God. The donkey saved the dumb human's life.
Want to hear something else. In Revelation 5:13, it mentions that every creature will raise his voice and praise the Lord. Every dog, every fish, every bird, every frog, and every dinosaur will praise the Lord. Everything that has breath will praise the Lord.
Want to hear something weirder? The earth moans and groans for the coming of the Lord. God hung the earth on nothing so He can shake her whenever He wants. God cursed the ground because of sin so our earth is cursed until Jesus returns to renew it.
Sin is a terrible thing. We need to turn from our wicked ways and put our trust in Christ Jesus.
