Hi everyone
I've recently booked a holiday to Perisher Blue ski resort, starting on the 1st July, and though I know the ski season there started abouyt a month ago, I have no idea of snow quality. Anyone care to give opinions/predictions? Just so I might know to expect decent snow by then, or muddy/slushy overused runs. Thanks!

It depends on early snowfall. There have been a few early falls, although from the snowcams ( http://www.ski.com.au/snowcams/nsw.html ) it does not look enough to ski on yet. They will make snow. Perisher snowmaking is concentrated on beginner and intermediate runs. If that is you, there will be snow to ski on. If you are after expert slopes that early is a bit of a lottery (although there are still a few weeks to go.) So far, this is a better than average start.

And the season has not started yet.
