My French lover whispered to moi, "So remember darling, when we are apart, just look at the moon, it will be the same one I shall be looking at and we will be together." Does that melt your heart or is he a Gallic ****.

If you immediately had sex with him, I'd say he knows how to play the game.

If he smiled at you and looked sincere, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

He's definitely a Gallic ****, but hey, if the sex was good it was worth listening to that crap. Think about- who says that kind of stuff?

Lover?Surely you know what that means...you make love nat fall in love! I think he is not a **** however...
i am neither english nor french, but i think anglosaxons tend to somehow make artificial divisions: it is either "pure sex" or "being in love"which gives the justification of putting emotional demand on the other.anything that is beyond "pure sex" is automatically overwhelming and leading to emotional attachment.it comes down to different definitions of sex: the french one is more sensual, poetic and gushes through different areas of life, but it is still "love making"not being in love.Take it as your standard of lovers and not as the exeption, once you had more encounters on such a level than you will be able to keep your cool.

He will be looking at the moon in France and laughing to himself knowing that you probably are too whilst he heads down the rue with michelle

I guess it would depend on the situation with and what kinda relationship it was. It does sound a bit cheesy but I think it's quite sweet really.

Fall for it if it makes you happy. You might as well. It doesn't sound like you guys planned to have any kind of life together, so take it for what it is and have good memories. :D

Definitely sounds like a line, and a cheesy one at that. But it is sweet!
