The reason I ask is that I was a special girls first. But I feel the relationship is going nowhere and I think she values losing her virginity to me greatly. Just wondering what the norm was.

Aw... it was nothing. Just like doing a crossword puzzle or walking in the park.

What do you THINK?

I mean, really.... what kind of a question is this?

Ladies are emotional beings. Most ladies gave up their virginity to someone they loved. I gave up my virginitiy to someone that I LOVED who unfortunately didn't feel the same way about me. It was very devastating when I found out. Took me a long time to get over it. I regretted that with every fibre in my being. I would encourage others to make sure the love is true before giving up that precious gift.

The guy I lost my virginity to was a very good friend of mine. We're friends to this day, 15 years later. I didn't love him (at least not more than as a friend). He didn't love me. He was absolutely the right person for me to lose my virginity to. I have no regrets.

I'm still waiting to lose it to my husband once I get married.
My virginity is very important to me.
I would not want to give myself to just anyone.
BTW I am a Christian and middle aged and in a serious relationship.
