Anything that made in US would be nice, key-holders, lighters, USA flag badges (pins), etc.

Gifts from China - tea leaves, mini tea sets, silk scarves, paper cuttings, Chinese stamps, 2008 Olympics souvenir (T-shirts, mugs, key-holders, ...etc.)

gifts - anything that is from your state, I am assuming you are from the USA, also state quarters are good, stamps, books about famous place in the USA, stuff like that, try to stay away from things that are "made in China"
buy - as in what should you buy here? if you want to take back gifts to your friends here are some good things, chopstick sets, scrolls, Chinese Shu Fa (the art of writing Chinese characters)
