I had these really weird, I don't know what to call them. It felt like I was traveling through time. See, I was listen to some calm Celtic music and the next thing I knew it was like I was floating in some other time. First, there was this guy playing the piano to my music and all I could see was him playing and I could hear the music and I didn't feel my body. Then there where Native Americans dancing around the fire singing and the children playing in a river. Next, there was a wedding. A very beautiful outside wedding and everyone was happy, the sun was shining. Then, there were girls crying and they were in dark corners screaming. Most of them were in their nightgowns and just crying so hard. almost certainly you just fell asleep and had dreams that ended in a nightmare. the music inspired the inital imagery. The nightmare reflects certain fears in your own life. Not serious. Express yourself more fully -keep a diary or paint some pictures.

It sounds like you fell into a deep meditative experience, which is close to REM type sleep, so it could be either. Without knowing your background, it is hard to say what the dream-like experience refers to, but it makes me recall that Taylor Caldwell, the author, had similar experiences that resulted in her writing a book on the crucifixion of Christ. Since she believed in reincarnation, she came to believe that she was Mary Magdeline in a past life, as I recall. Your dream sounds like you were in a massacre of Indians ina past life, but more likely, you have recently read of an Indian massacre. Just a thought.
