No one is too young for love, because love doesn't come from your mind, which knows your age, but from your heart, which knows no age.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Teen dating has become so bloody ridiculous these days it makes me laugh. It kills me to know that most teenagers that date are either freshman or sophmores. At that age, dating is either:
1. Just to look cool,
2. Or simply the fact that the couple cannot control their hormones.
TEENS CAN NOT KNOW WHAT LOVE IS. It's true. Dating at this age is nothing more than hormone unloadage. Half of the time these couples are either kissing or grabbing at each other, it's stupid! If they really loved each other and wanted to date because they wanted to get to know each other better, they would act like friends, not like they would have to be on each other every second.
Now yes, some "couples" actually do date for good reasons, but as a whole, teen dating SUCKS. Most (if not all) teens DO NOT KNOW WHAT LOVE IS. They want you to show them.*
*Bad Foreigner line, I know.

of course. but look around you--most older people don't understand that love for another is an ever evolving process. not just love--okay now everything is easy. reason it is difficult at such a young age is because sooo many feelings and ideas are new--and you haven't been exposed to a wide variety of people. look, think back just fiive years back--do you play the same things, like the same shows, have the same thoughts? hopefully not. now, imagine two people growing at rapidly and different speeds. so, takes alot of maturity to allow the other to grow and change--true love doesn't even mean staying together. sometimes true love means sacrificing your own wants, letting the other go--

I would say it's extremely rare for a teenager to know what real love is. I am one of the lucky ones who knew at 15 what love was. I am now 32, and when I look back on my first love, it was genuine and real. Sure, there was a naivety there, but it was real love. It's been years since I last saw him, but I'll still hold a special place in my heart for him.

No, at that age you're drunk on Highschool drama and drama tv shows like The O.C. and Laguna Beach crap. It's not real love. Well ok, there is a possible chance that it could be but don't count on it. If you say you fall in love with every hot guy you see off the streets then you're just fooling yourself. Dig deep and know yourself before trying to understand your emotions, esp when it's a difficult and complex emotion like love. There was a girl I knew back in Highschool that I defended to the death that I loved her but now years and years later, I realized that it was actually lust and not love. Do not be fooled.

Yes. I'm a teen and I understand it perfectly. I think I might be in love now. Just by me and my boyfriends conversations and how long we've been together. (1 year) I don't know alot of teens that's stayed in a relationship for 1 year.

I didnt no the meaning or value or anything before the age of 18 far to ignorant.
You need to live a little, all you no is school at that age so you dont no who you really are. You may be very mature but I personally dont think you are ready for either need, think, worry, care about love.

It's hard to say if you're in love or not. At that age, its common to really feel like you're "in love" but it could turn out to be just "in like". I don't think that anyone from age 13-17 experiences love, but rather infatuation, or a strong bond. Love is something thats hard to explain, whether you're in love or you love somebody is what makes a difference.

I don't think most teens can understand real love. They confuse it with compassion, obsession, lust, infatuation etc. Part of the reason is that they're very easily impressionable. That's not to say it's impossible. I think there are a select few whose mental and emotional maturity allows them to understand love, but it is definitely difficult to tell if you are one of these few.
