What else can you offer to convince me to abandon evolution, and accept biblical explanations as a means for understanding the natural world. Before I toss out this hundred year old accepted theory, I want to be absolutely sure science is as confused you claim it is. Lets do a quick exam...

Engineering & Mathematics
well bridges stand, boats float, planes fly, satellites stay in orbit. I guess science has it's act together here.

Biology
It's cured diseases, prevented plagues, increased lifespans, reduced infant mortality, improved crop yields. I guess science gets the nod.

Physics
We have electricity, heat, running water, mass transportation - not too shabby!

Technology
Cell phones, computers, MRI machines, space shuttles - gotta give it to science again!

Chemistry
Hmmm, soap, toothpaste, cough syrup, food preservatives, perfume, lysol - can't damn science for making the world smell better.

Evolution
A totally screwed up, useless, evil theory.

So, lets abandon science, shall we?

Yeah I know. On one hand we hear "oh, scientists are just human; they make errors, so how can we really trust them?" Yet at the same time, no one else seems to have any problem with ANYTHING else in science other than evolution. I find that pretty interesting.

DO YOU REALLY WANT ANSWERS THAT WILL SATISFY AND SUBSTANTIATE YOUR OWN BELIEF SYSTEM OR Are you really open minded? Life isn't a game!
Eternity isn't a joke! God isn't playing! The devil is as serious as he can be about damning all those he can deceive. Christ is as serious as He can be about delivering people from sin and spiritual ignorance!

Engineering and Mathematics - God gave the brain that made all those things possible. Man merely used what was given. It is proven that we don't even do a very good job of using what we have because the most intelligent person who ever lived only used 1/10th of 1% of his brain power. God also created the materials to make the bridges, boats and all that other stuff you mentioned possible.

Biology - If God hadn't created plant and other life for the biologist to study and given him a brain to study with that part of science would never have come into being because the people who had the brains to think of it would not be able to.
THE SAME CAN BE SAID FOR PHYSICS, TECHNOLOGY,
CHEMISTRY AND ANY OTHER PART OF THE SCIENCE WORLD. Man has only used what God has given him, and as I stated before we have done a miserable job of that.

Evolution should be spelled Evil --- ution. It is a totally useless
hypothesis (so-called intelligent guess). It not only offers no hope of reality in this life, but offers no hope beyond this life.
As you said -- it is definitely evil because it causes people to turn from God who is the source of all life and the only hope for sinful mankind.

Science should never be abandoned. It simply should be studied from the proper perspective which is that of a Creator
who made the world for us to appreciate and understand. The scientists who have abandoned evolution as a farce and
began to study the universe, the earth and everything with the concept of the possibility of intelligent creation are not even Christians for the most part. They just look at the complex things in the simplest life form ( a cell ) and say that it is not possible that Darwin's theories could ever explain them.

Now if that intelligence they believe was involved in creating these things is the Christian God then the choice would be simple. That is for everyone to find out personally. I know the answer to this whole thing. I always am willing to talk about it.
I accept emails all the time.

So because people believe in Intelligent Design and that there is a creator...they automatically abandon all other science? Nope not true.

Has science always been right though? Wasn't it science that told us that the earth was flat at one point? but they were wrong.
Wasn't it science that called Pluto a planet, but now says it is not?
Science told us at one point (yes along with religion) that the sun revolved around the earth.
Some scientists claimed that "feeble-minded" people should not be allowed to reproduce since they would only produce "feeble-minded" children...they were proven wrong.

Science has been wrong on a number of occasions, so is it totally out of the realm of possibility that they have "misread" the science of evolution and someday come to find flaws in it.

There are scientists already claiming that we did walk on all fours on the ground, but walked upright in trees.
So science is not without it's flaws and mistakes.

Abandon Science and place your faith in the accuracy of the Bible. The Bible is testable in many places. Don't be duped into falling for false scientific theories. Chech out the facts in the Bible. The evidence is all around you. Wake Up before it is too late.

Under Chemistry or Physics, you should have included the atomic bomb, or CFC's, or heroin, or guns. Science is not 100% good.

Have you ever heard of 'granite halos'. They are a microscopic formation in all types of granite. And according to scientists, it takes granite a long time to cool down and harden. I think it was years or something. But the halos appear and go within seconds. Therefore, it does not make sense that halos form in granite. Granite does not fit with evolution.

And have you ever heard of the Wollemi Pines, in Australia. This type of tree was around in the time of the dinosaurs, and was thought to have been extinct for at least 2 million years, and it was around for about 200 million years, but living trees, the same type that was around millions of years ago, was found in 1994, in Wollemi National Park in Australia. Explain that one for me please.

And also, show me one transitional fossil.

Science disagrees with evolution more than it does with Creation. The reasons that I stated above are just a few examples, I could have given many more.

As Creationists interpet it, "Evolution" somehow includes geology, cosmology, chemestry, and astronomy.

The ToE is a theory just like gravity or electricity is a theory. Despite Creationists desperate desire to close their eyes, there are mountains of evidence for the ToE--fossils, genetics, observed instances of speciation both in the lab and in the wild, etc... As opposed to the make-crap-up-on-the-fly "reasoning" that Creationist "scientists" try to pass of as research.

If you have a block of cheese, and one small corner of it has a spot of mold, you don't throw away the entire block of cheese; you cut off the portion that is not usable and throw that away. Christians do not want to abandon science simply because evolution doesn't make sense.

What? Maybe you need to read up on evolution, its not in as bad of shape as you claim. AND, In the grand scheme of things, we've only just begun to study evolution, you can't expect science to have all, or even most of the answers right now!

You are confusing evolution with science. I don't think that any person will reject true science. It's when you mix in a theory with no real evidence to back it that it becomes ridiculous. In fact, why don't we teach science in our schools seperate from an elective evolution class. There are many secular scientists out there who reject evolution. I spoke with a rocket scientist from NASA a couple months ago who said that he, along with others there, scoffed at evolution and believed in special creation.

Lets not forget global warming/NASA laughs at.
Or the earth is flat
The atom can't be split
Man will never reach the moon.

Let's not abandon science. Just agree it makes mistakes and evolution is one of them.
