I never been to the Jacksonville airport and don't know where is the best place to meet someone that is coming in on a US AIR flight next week.
I know the carousel is a good place but is there anywhere closer.
Please give details as like 1st floor, name of the store or whatever.
As I and the person I am picking up both never been in a big airport like Jax. Only little ones like Sav.
Thanks for your help!!!

Trust me, Jacksonville is not that big of an airport. You should just visit them at the U.S. Airways baggage carousel. There are probably like 2-3 of them that US Airways actually uses. Also you can go inside of the airport and wait for them just before security. US Airways is in Terminal B so you can wait at the part before security. There is a Burger King. Though overall, I would meet at the carousel. Plus there are plenty of computer screens notifying people of baggage carousel assignments.

i am sure there is a Starbucks there.

But usually you meet people at the baggage claim area,
because you may not be able to go inside the airport due to security (need a boarding pass). The ticket counter for departures is the closest place you will be able to go.

Perhaps outside ticketing or at the rental car location. It's really not that big an airport so you guys will be okay.
