if you were standing in a bar, and i just so happened to come over and talk to you.
you'd learn about me that i'm 6'0', blonde spikey hair and dark blue eyes - medium build. i play guitars and drums, writes music with a Savage Garden theme. Works with cars. I have my own flat and would love to have children one day..
would you give me a chance to take you out for a date, or would i not be your kind of guy..
recently i've learned that most women go for the bass-*** guys, so i just wanna know where i stand in this world ladies..
and yes,i would buy you a drink before we spoke =D

If somebody wants to "take me out for a date" a steer away as far as possible especially when it happens in a BAR. such places are for meeting humans and having converations& getting drunk ,generally talking about the meaning of life& enjoying yourself and not trying to fix yourself with a date!(thats my personal belief..)If we were sitting next to each other and we just happened to have an interesting conversation, than maybe i would meet you up again (although honestly i am not after kids at all) but to have somebody asking to meet him again( because thats what a date is)without actually making an effort to establish some common ground first would make me fill kind of alienated and i would definitely say NO.Also i did 13 years of music training and the "savage garden theme" just sucks ...get to know more good music. I am sure there are still women around who don't feel offended when somebody includes them in a generalised category of "ladies". Don't try to do something just to impress women. get a life! (the worst thing would be somebody pretending to be somebody else). And also you will not get laid like that (and i figure somebody who uses the word "ladies"is after that)have you ever heard about the word called "flirtation"...?

First of all, I would not accept a drink from you, as I never accept drinks from strangers. Second of all, you would have to be someone extra special that I really had chemistry with in order for me to consider a date with you. I've had very bad luck going on dates with people I just met in a bar. Nowadays I'll only accept a date in a bar if I know the person already. If you were a regular at the bar, I might be willing to spend time away from my friends to get to know you better. That might lead to a date eventually.

Why wouldn't you be? You are well spoken, good with your hands, can fix things and seem fine. Plus, I would have to give you a chance to find out if dating would be a good thing. You might not like me and run away. When you would have met me in a bar I would have been single with two young boys, 5-6 over 100 pounds somewhere (I don't weigh myself), dyed blond, working in demoliton (at that time 2 years) and would have been 23.

Well, I don't do bars... but that's another story.
Would it bother you to go out with a girl who didn't drink?
Though, the fact that you would be a total stranger would scare me (after all, I don't know whether your some perv who'd try to date-rape me, etc).
But, regardless, I would give you a chance on certain conditions:
A- If you could lead/make a good conversation
B- You didn't seem sociopathic, etc
C-If you were a gentlemen and treated me nicely
D- If you were physically attractive (you wouldn't have to be totally hot, but cute enough to catch my eye (but even if you weren't, if you were nice enough it wouldn't really matter....))
E- If I could tell you were being honest and sincere
F-...
Good luck

lol, personally I'd say yes because your out going but you dont seem "too strong" out going (a good thing). You sound sweet and awesome. DOnt belive the whole bada** thing. The only thing a woman wants in that situation is to "change him". You're standing strong. Just dont under or over estemate yourself.

sometimes looks over rule personality when we first meet someone but its all about giving people a chance, getting to know people is the fun part of starting a relationship!

well first of all, there are no guys like that in a bar.
a guy who says all those things in a bar.... is a major liar!
if you are a smart and decent guy, why would you find a perfect lady in a bar? you just want to get laid and testing ladies in yahoo to find out what's your chances are.
oh and No... I go to a bar to have fun... not to listen to some dude's life plan...

i would give you a chance :) but you wouldn't have to buy me anything (i feel bad when people waste their money on me, lol). I play the guitar as well and i'm loving it (and i do plan on learning drums one day probably)! you sound like an awesome dude so far. But to me it would depend on your personality.
