As taken from chapter 2 of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler
Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."
By Christian definition, Hitler is now sitting in "heaven" as he accepted Christ as his "Lord". I do charity work, pay my taxes, am an accepting and tolerant person and loving husband and father, yet I demand that christians provide proof for their claims before I can accept their belief system. Guess I am going to hell right?

I would like to believe more than anything, problem is that everything about christianity looks, feels and smells like some mindless, group think propelled fantasy. Just saying I am going to hell is not an answer either

Well, some people reduce faith, religion, spirituality to rewards and punishments. Personally, I don't believe in hell as an actual literal place. What happened to Hitler's soul is beyond me. What kind of proofs from Christians do you want? Proof of God's existence? All I can speak to is my own experience, and the experiences of those I know, but that doesn't seem to be the "proof" most folks on here are talking about. My faith in God enriches and deepens my life, as to what happens after we die, I'll leave that up to God, because it's all a big guess anyway.

I think that you can usually tell if a person is a Christian by their works: are they Christ-like? If not, then perhaps that person is not following Christ. I am not saying that those who sin or continually fall into temptation are NOT Christian, because everyone makes mistakes, including those with the best of intentions. The difference is deliberate actions that go against what Christ stood for. Christ did not advocate murder, let alone genocide. Perhaps Hitler wanted people to think he was a good person, so he said that he was a Christian. I may be wrong, but wasn't he the person who said something like, "tell a big lie and fool a lot of people"? I'll check on that... hang on...
EDIT:
It was: "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed."

Don't put words in christians mouths.
Many people maake claims of God (that doesn't mean God accepts them or what they claim).
James 2:19
Your "good works" and thinking you can approve yourself for heaven are not the way to salvation.
Jesus is the only way.Read:
John 3:15-21
Acts 2:21
Eph 2
Jude
I & 2 Thes
Matt 24-25
Mark 16:14-19

The Bible also says "Beware of false prophets" and those people who declare they are walking with God and Christ but are not. Hitler, judging his works, was clearly not. He had no other motives than to create his own race of people. Follower of Christ? Unequivical NO!!!
A lot of Christians look at it as black and white. You are a "good" person. As you said, you pay your taxes, honor your mother and father, etc, and Hitler kills millions and you feel you are going to be fighting off the demons right along side of him. You have had this ingrained in your mind. Let me tell you something. If people have told you that, they are wrong.
Remember, the Lord is "perfectly" just. There are scriptures that point to separate levels of punishment. I can't speak to what that would be, because I'm not God, but do I believe that you will be alongside of Hitler and Stalin? No. I also believe that, judging my works in this life, I will not be alongside of Mother Theresa in Heaven either. God is just and we will understand everything in the end. That is His promise.
God bless.

Hitler committed suicide. He was what the Bible would refer to as a false prophet. The Jews are God's chosen people. Hitler was not a Christian and was not serving God when he mass murdered so many Jews the way he did.
When someone goes against God's Word, murdering Jews and other innocent people, and still claims to being doing God's work, that makes him a liar, not a Christian.
Hitler is not sitting in heaven. That is a lie. Your definition is not a Christian definition. So don't call it one. I am a Christian who recognized your telling of lies.

For one a deranged man does not make a good example unless you are deranged too. But no Hitler is not in Heaven and I can not judge where you will be when you die because as certain as I am at times I am also afraid of eternal fire so if you want proof than I will have to tell you watch your child sleep breathe and then tell me there is no greater creation than a God Creation. I do not judge you but what I will do is ask you do you ever wonder about if there truly is a God and you could live forever in a loving environment than would you not want too? Would you not want to have all your loved ones with you? Answer me this ....Is it so bad to believe in God?

First off, that passage only claims Hitler professed faith to a God, not to Christ. Through Christ is the only way to eternal life. If Hitler professed a belief in Christ, he clearly did not have a relationship with Christ, so I would doubt his sincerity. The Bible says they will know us by our love, Hitler's message of hate is proof enough he did not follow the teachings of Christ. Further, since ALL of us are sinful (Christians too) how can you claim to be the only truly moral one? Are you suggesting that despite leading a respectable life, you are without any sin? I know better. Christ promises you won't be punished for your sin as long as you acknowledge the sin, and that He died for payment for that sin in your place, giving you the gift of Eternal life. I don't know if you are going to hell, but anything short of Heaven would be Hell to me. How hard is it to accept a gift staring you in the face? It's easy, what do you fear? That you might be made fun of? You will be, but God and a relationship with Christ is worth it. When the truth is revealed, those that criticize will also learn it.

As far as I know Hitler was not a Christian. Just because he said he believed he was working for God doesn't mean God hired him. Some people think they are Napoleon Bonaparte. It doesn't make them leader of France. I am sure that the minute Hitler stood before his creator he realized what a monumental mistake he had made. As for his judgement, we will all get to see that. The Bible says some are not yet judged because the consequences of their deeds are not yet completed. He will be judged for every neo-nazi hate crime that happens from now till the end of time.

wow
i'm stunned.
EDIT: sorry I just had to take a breather there.
Mein Kampf was written by a suicidal psychopath, and it was written long before he even came to power in Germany.
By Christian definition, if you give your heart to the Lord, admit you are a sinner and ask Him to forgive you and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour, you are saved by grace.
Someone (anyone) who claims that they believe they are doing the will of God may not be, and one scenario has NOTHING to do with the other.
We can't judge you and I won't. You can demand proof from me and all I can give you is the Love of God Himself.
Neither I nor anyone anywhere can tell you you are going to hell friend. That's only between you and God. If you don't believe in Him, that's all we can say.
blessings :)

Even the devil believes in Jesus - but that doesn't help him. Belief in Jesus is more then mental acknowledgment in His existence. It's to be a follower of Christ. In no way did Hitler show that he as a Christian - he only showed himself to be a heathen. On the other hand many that fought against Hitler, and died on the battlefield were God fearing Christians.
