If a guy were gay, he'd probably.
But naturally, we don't like receiving flowers. Probably we'd appreciate the effort of the girl but.. we may feel awkward.
We'd rather have a nice time visiting places together with girlfriends than flowers. You can treat us ice cream if you want.

YES! YES! YES! If you send them to their mother for her birthday or mother's day, if they have introduced you to her. Do it as a surprise though., ONLY if he introduced you to mother already.
Men prefer something thoughtful... like Ottawa Sens or Mets tickets in the mail. Find what they like doing, and send tickets or a gift certificate in the mail in an elegant card to work, especially sports related stuff. Hard to get tickets, or something he really wants. Have him jump up and down his cubicle or dorm room: "I've got Mets tickets, I've got Mets tickets, nananana!!!!" If he is an opera, broadway or theatre fan, some production tickets in a nearbye city. Tickets to his favorite war museum, star wars covention, whatever it is. That would show you are thoughtful. Flowers makes him feel like a bad guy, why didn't he send you any or enough. Make him feel good instead! :-)

Lol on the outside they might not. But I'm betting they do. I mean dont go all pinkie this and that...but I'm pretty sure that a guy would enjoy the flowers. No matter how manly

Buy him a house plant but no flowers.As a rule most guys would rather buy them for you.And unless he's gay or just being polite he wont keep them more than ten minutes after you leave.
