I believe that it is possible- but I do not have enough information to form a belief about that - do I believe someone might lie about it - that is also possible. I choose to believe that people tell the truth more often than they lie. I choose to believe, based on the little I know, they speak the truth. It does not affect anything-I believe that Noah's Ark existed, irrespective of anyone else's truth, while still respecting their choices. Peace and may the Hand of God be upon you.

Well, you did get the first part right. The Ark came to rest on the Mountains (plural) of Ararat. Not Mt. Ararat. There is a man, who has since died, but he was an anasthesiologist by trade and an amateur Biblical Archeologist by hobby. He is said to have found the Ark along with many artifacts that support that claim. The area where he is said to have found it is now no longer available for the general public to walk through. As well as a mountain in Saudi Arabia where he said he found Mt. Sinai (which if you read your bible carefully is not on the sinai peninsula, but in arabia, in what is now saudi arabia.)

Why would I need to rationalize that someone said they found the footprint of a giant boat in the middle of a mountain range? I believe the Flood story to be true and have a large amount of science to back it up.

Well, if the Ark story follows the usual bible bologna stories, then I'm sure it is just an exaggerated story of a man with a dog who sailed off into the ocean for 40 days. Besides, how many wild animals are just going to listen to some guy, and line up on a ship? Come on, enough of the fairy tales.

The Ark rested upon the Mountains of Ararat, not Mount Ararat. Mount Ararat, as we know it today did not exist back after the flood. It's a volcanic mountain, and very young.

"And the Arc rested. . . upon the mountainS of Ararat." Gen. 8:4

I have seen this many times on television. Its old news. Whether its true or not has yet to be determined. Turkey won't allow any more expeditions. However, it can be seen from satelite, from what I've also heard. Even if they found the Ark, would it make any difference to those who will still find some other rationalization?

I don't need to worry about that one...

If a Christian site that believes in the global flood and the ark realises that the claim that the ark has been found is indefensible that will do, subject to a major change of evidence.
"the search for Noah's Ark has... led to numerous claims - but no proof." (URL below)

Even so, Ron Wyatt's dated claims still get the occasional airing here and elsewhere.

there may very wel have been an ark. It might not have housed every animal 2 by 2 and there might not have been a world wide flood that lasted 40 days and 40 nights but the ark could have been a real attempt.

No. It would be pretty easy to prove that they found a ship if they really did. There hasn't been enough show up to suggest that they might have found something man-made.

No. If it had ever been found, there would be pictures, video recordings, and other evidence. None exists, so it was not discovered. There are, however, still people searching there for it.
