I thought I'd just ask a really simple question and give everyone a break here on R&S. What do you think of this video? It's appropriate for all ages and genders.

It's called "Women in Art" showing 500 years of art in western culture.

I loved the video, yes. I also didn't really like the modern art at the end. Of course it was showing how art has developed over the past 500 years, but in my opinion modern art sucks ^_^;;

Thanks! That was gorgeous. I called over my art major daughter to watch it and she loved it too. :)

I liked to just focus on a feature (like eyes, lips) and see how it changed.

Nicely done. Someone put a lot of thought and work into it. Basically, it develops on an idea I had (very simplified, and done in the first few seconds of this film) when I was learning Dreamweaver in school last summer.

I don't like the very abstract ones at the end, though. That's just personal taste. You could have quit about 30 seconds short, for my taste.

Did you do it?

Fascinating. Boring. A very good computer animation/modeling job by someone.

Dane: Reminds me of this girl I went out with years ago. She had so many different personalities, that she went bankrupt from the bill her shrink sent her !

P.S. Does this have any tendencies towards proving women evolved from apes?

Erie! I kept thinking of Galadriel (LOTR); when Frodo offered her the Ring of Power. As she reached towards it exclaiming that he heart had greatly desired this, she "morphed" into this beautiful & terrible goddess of the dawn...much like this movie morphes the pix!!
Waaaay cool!!
BTW? The "break" was appreciated.
