You could, but it would be a lot of work because it's not the right tool. You would be better to use something like any of the following:

* Adobe InDesign
* Corel VENTURA
* QuarkXPress
* Adobe PageMaker
* Microsoft Publisher

You might be able to find some shareware as well. You want page layout software.

Possible, but not advisable. You can use adobe indesign or pagemaker (being phased out though) for layouting a magazine (easier to edit the text there), and photoshop to edit/make effects for the page backgrounds.

PageMaker or InDesign would be a better program to create the magazine. You can use PhotoShop to do color correction on photos or manipulate graphics, then place them in PageMaker.

Technically yes, you can. However, Adobe InDesign is a program designed specifically for creating mags, as well as creating Year books, newspapers, etc.

You can, but its not the best tool, and it will be extermely difficult, you need some publishing software for the job. such as PageMaker, Quark or Microsoft Publisher for examples.
