Here we go again.
Man didn't evolve from apes. Man and apes share a common ancestor.
Think a few million years ago. There was a very early life form that was neither human nor ape. Over time, that life form began to evolve. Some of the descendants of this life form began to evolve slightly differently than other descendants. The changes were eventually significant enough that one branch of the descendants could now be considered to be their own (their own---but related) species. One branch eventually evolved into simians. The other branch eventually evolved into humans. This took millions of years.
That's the BASICS. If you're truly interested in knowing about the theory of evolution, see this site. It's easy to read, and gives all the basic information that you need to know.

Because you have decended through his seed. Which produced your father and another sibling
this sibling had 2 children which became your cousin. A chimp cannot become your cousin, but a jack &$$ might

man is not decended from apes. That hasn't been PROVEN. That's why it's called a THEORY of evolution.

There isn't an animal capable of evolving from a "brute" to an INTELLIGENT being (with good vs bad, moral compass). Whatever the ancestor of man was, it wasn't an ape/monkey to begin with but something with Intelligence. Why haven't other species, during millions and millions of years of evolution, produce the equivalent of man (intelligent life)?
