Death is easier than life. Six billion people have taken the plunge so it's apparently no big deal. It has me curious but also knowing it's a one way street in no rush.

I don't want to die because I love life, and I love everything and (nearly) everyone in it. It's been a good party for me, I don't want to leave. If your friends and loved ones miss you, well, that's to be expected if you were a good friend and if you were making the party more enjoyable for them by being there. What I would not like would be if I was such a rotten person that nobody missed me, or worse, if they were happy that I died. Now THAT would be awful.

I'm not afraid of it, though. What would be the point of that? Dying is the one thing that we are all guaranteed to do at some point. It's inevitable, and as much a part of life as birth, so the way I figure it is, if I don't get to have a problem with birth, if I'm happy when someone is born, why would I get all bent out of shape over anyone's death, including my own?

Life is beautiful, it really is. There doesn't need to be anything after death, the fact that I have lived at all is enough for me.

I think that's a reasonable reason to be afraid. I do not want to hurt people in my passing either. But in engaging with those around us, we have to accept each others' mortality. It is important that we learn to share our lives together even in the understanding that it won't last forever, and that we acknowledge that our time together is as a result both infinitely more valuable than any earthly posession and beyond all distraction of fears, wants or ideas.

I'm not afraid of dying. It's going to happen, and life is too important to be wasted on fear. Use your time wisely; that's about the best advice I can give you.

Alright, this isn't in a weird way or anything but there has been several times where I've imagined myself, well, dead. But it's strange, because I have no thought, and no sight, but I also can't imagine what it's like to just NOT exist anymore. I wouldn't know what it would do to my family, my friends, my husband, it actually kinda freaks me out a bit. I used to think I wasn't afraid of dying, but I might just be... :)

No, becuase eath is a completely natural process - I don't want to go through a lot of pain. You have to leave loved ones behind but they'll rejoin you if there is a heaven and if there is no afterlife, you won't be missing them because you won't exist. If there is a heaven I'll get to see my mom again, and if not, I won't exist so I won't be missing anyone.

I am not afraid of dying becuase I know I will go to heaven. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21

Not Really. I trust in the word of God which Say's to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.

No, not at all!
I know when I leave this scene, I will be with my Saviour, face to face. Absent from the body, present with the Lord.

What a day, glorious day, that will be!
