My hair looks really good when I straighten it but that takes 2 hours with how poofy it is and it gets poofy again when I take a shower so it's kind of a waste. Is there a way to get the same look but take less time. Or is that impossible?

Try using a good moose or CREME. Go to your local stylist for help if that doesnt work and get a new shampoo and conditioner and only shampoo the ends.

try some olive oil..

heat it up for about a minute

then massage it all over your hair...

shower after 2 hours or so

your hair will be soft, shiny, and pretty managable.

yes--QUIT washing your hair every day--put it in a shower cap and SAVE YOURSELF from incredible time wasting.
NOBODY is ging to see you in a shower cap.
If your hair is like mine--it is so dry---you don't need to shampoo it every day anyway.
TREAT YOURSELF by not shampooing but every TWO days (OR MORE).
