Apple juice is LOADED with sugar. You'd be much better off eating an apple. Also, for carbs you should be eating brown rice or whole grain bread instead of mashed potatoes.

Breakfast: OK, but you might want to add some protein for energy like an egg.

Lunch: Canned soups usually have LOTS of sodium in them. You should have had water or milk instead of juice again. Juice is alright in small quantities.

Dinner: Depends what was in the shiskabobs. Baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, or red potatoes would've been better than mashed.

Overall I'd give you a B-

I'm not sure what you are worrying about. Do you mean 'was it enough?' or are you unsure if you ate the right things or what? To me, this looks pretty OK, though I would suggest you need more vegetables, including leafy green veg, in your diet. Not being a meat eater, I'm not entirely sure what goes into a shishkabob so I'm not sure how much meat this means and what else is involved.

How do you feel? Do you have good energy, do you feel good in yourself? If so, you're probably eating OK.

To be honest, the most worrying thing is that you're anxious about whether it's OK. Obsessing and worrying about food is much more drastic in terms of its impact on your long term health (mental and physical) than any sort of diet that provides enough food and isn't all junk.

Yes. But I would definitely add some high-fiber cereal to the breakfast. Keep the fruit, but a cereal high in fiber will keep your energy up longer---and you won't be famished at lunch. That's when you can blow a diet. You get so hungry you over eat or you eat junk/fast food. Bran flakes, Fiber One....anything with 5 or more grams of fiber per serving. The more fiber the better it will be for you.

I think you ate too much sugar from the fruits and juice.
And a lot of carbs from the mashed potatos and corn. You should really eat more green veggies!

You're diet today was really healthy but I don't think there was enough of it, you don't seem to be eating enough wholegrains and I hope you drank more than 2 cups of apple juice all day.

Were there carrots on those shishkabobs? I think it sounds like you need more vegetables.
