I still like this program, but it has difficulty loading some, but not all, JPEG images (ones downloaded off the Internet). Some will just give an error message, and others cause the program to crash. The program was designed originally for Windows 3.1, but still works in Windows XP with a Win95 compatability adjustment. I would like to either learn how to fix the program itself, or fix the jpeg files that it has difficulty with. (It used to do the same thing in Windows 95 and 98.) It works fine with BMP and TIFF files.

I'm not interested in recommendations for other graphic programs, by the way. I am aware of them and use some of them, but for my purposes, FotoTouch Color is the easiest to use.

Download Irfanview and use it to convert your jpegs to TIFF. It has a batch conversion facility to convert a number of files with one click.
I too have noticed that some jpegs cannot be read by some software, whilst other programs have no problem with them.
