This is too bizarre to be a coincidence. Sounds like he is stalking you. Get a restraining order. Tell them you are afraid of him, as well you should be. Good luck.

I think that I would go to the local County Court and apply for an injunction forbidding the person concerned to approach me in any way. Life is full of coincidences, but this is indeed a strange one and I think that the judge would find it so as well. If you obtained such an injunction and she breached it, then she she would run the risk of being committed to prison for contempt of court.
Is it possible to confide in the lad's mother? I don't know what kind of people we're talking about, but I certainly wouldn't want my son going out with somebody who had assaulted a person so seriously that it ended up in court. After all, it could happen to her!

Be very careful. Our police are a target driven rapid response organisation, not a police force..

This guy seems to be stalking you and will probably ensure that he attacks you when there are no witnesses other than his friends and family. The police will not believe a word you say because you will be suffering from shock and you will end up with a criminal record for having a nervous breakdown.

Go to a lawyer now!. It may be expensive but not as expensive as having a criminal record for something you did not do or being seriously injured both physically and mentally.

you are in a very funny position , but to safe guard yourself inform the local police of the past happenings , tell them what you suspect and make sure it is noted.
that is all that you can do until such time the person does something to or at you, verbally or otherwise , at this junction you can then bring the police in , and then the courts.
but try to ignore the person , i know it is hard to do , but you must stay within the law.

I was going to say get a restraining order. But he was found not guilty and until you have current evidence, I would say you cannot get one.

I would be taking pictures, making a log of dates times and incidents, keeping absolute track to see if it is actual stalking or is really coincidence.

Naahhh, I do not think so.

Pay for a good solicitor and state your case . He will then contact the police and ensure you are protected in law. I know what it is to be in this situation but don't take the law into your own hands because this is when this joke of human rights comes into play and you will not win. (see response to my question on human rights).

Forget it. I live in a block of flats and have to live above and within earshot of a neighbour that chased me with a knife and hit me with an iron bar....plus the landlord did nothing about it, in fact he's evicting ME because this sh*te kept saying i was making noise.

Seriously forget it. Ive let go of it so you can too!

(EDIT) Oh yeah, and he stole two hundred quid off me, probably stole my bike and made a great deal more noise than i ever did.

Was the assualt recently, if you feel she is harassing you then report it, don't do anything to provoke any more harrassement, it may just be a coincidence. She may not last long with your neighbour any way.

I wouldn't confront them.
They may be stalking you.
If she approaches you, call the police, and then get a restraining order.
